Listen Now:

Switchfoot has a habit of tying up critics and reviewers in knots.
Some thought the dark-hued Nothing Is Sound was a major disappointment after The Beautiful Letdown. Others thought it was their finest work.
Oh! Gravity confounded the critics too.
One reviewer suggested that it takes you back to the sound of The Beautiful Letdown, with parts of the record reminding him of their earlier albums Learning To Breathe and The Legend Of Chin. Another suggested that it showed a distinct stylistic departure from the past.
The song Awakening suggests a shift in thinking with the band re-evaluating their goals and waking from its 'dreams'.
We catch up with Jon and Tim Foreman to discover whether their dreams have been fulfilled.
