Listen Now:

Last year, Florence And the Machines topped the pop charts around the world with a cover of Candi Staton's You Got The Love which they renamed slightly to You've Got The Love.
The song was a Top 10 hit for Staton in the 80s, and again in the 90s when The Source remixed it featuring her vocals.
Over the years, You Got The Love has become the most remixed song in music history with numerous versions and remixes available.
But Candi Staton is no 'one hit wonder'. The now 70-year-old singer has recorded hits for more than 40 years singing with almost all the greats of American music including Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, The Commodores, and Johnny Mathis.
Her biggest hits have included Young Hearts Run Free, Stand By Your Man, plus covers of Elvis' Suspicious Minds and In The Ghetto, plus a string of gospel albums.
Candi traces her musical and spiritual journey on Behind The Music.
