American CCM rockers Relient K are shifting their music into top gear for a series of shows in Australia later this year with Van Halen, Alice Cooper and Panic! At the Disco.
Named after the 1981 Plymouth Reliant K car, the band is known for its smart blend of punk pop and power pop.
The bandÃs accomplishments include several gold albums, a Grammy nomination for best Gospel Rock album, two Dove awards and performances on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Lead singer Matt Thiessen talks about the band's upcoming tour, his work with Owl City, and maintaining the band's CCM fan base while broadening its musical and thematic approach with albums like Forget And Not Slow Down.
