Tenth Avenue North took their name from a major road in Palm Beach, Florida and quickly shot to the CCM big-time with a major selling album debut and a Dove Award for Newcomer Of The Year.
Lead singer Mike Donehey says writing songs is a "spiritual experience". He says, on one level it's 'like a prayer', and on another the process is more akin to 'therapy'.
One of the things that distinguishes Tenth Avenue North's music is that their stories don't always resolve and get tied in a pretty bow.
