For some time, there's been a handful of songs I've waited for - with bated breath - to find interesting acoustic interpretations. At long last, it appears, I can exhale.
Matthew West, the singer/songwriter who's written songs for Mark Schultz, Mandisa, Natalie Grant, and Billy Ray Cyrus, must have read my mind, because recently he's recorded acoustic versions of some of his best known songs.
Over the years, West has released four best selling albums and an EP.
Several songs including More, Something To Say, and You Are Everything - all went to number one on the US Christian charts.
Despite these achievements, Matthew's faced a few challenges including vocal issues that threatened to end his career.
